Hi everyone.
I am planning on applying to Chico states' Nursing program for spring start. I just got my acceptance letter for the school itself, but have no yet applied to the program yet.
I just want to know about the school a little more. I wanted to see what everyone thinks about the city itself and the school, the good and the bad.
If you can just tell me your opinions about the academics, the staff, and faculty I would love to hear.
I would also appreciate what you think of the people and the city itself.
I have a tour scheduled for in a few weeks, but I really would like to hear what other people think too.
Thank you! :)
I can't believe it's almost here already! It actually went by pretty fast. These last few days are the toughest. My email keeps going off, and it has me on the edge of my seat.
I thought they were closed Friday (based on their phone number), but the website says they're open Fridays so I'm not sure.
Jenny were you able to find a place when you were visiting last week?
I am planning on bringing my dog so hopefully I find somewhere decent that accepts pets. I guess if I can't find somewhere that I can have her I can leave her here with my boyfriend, but I would miss her too much, and she hates the snow anyway.
Yeah I did actually. I came back Tuesday haha. When I was up there I visited multiple places and a lot of them ended up getting snatched from under me . BUT, thankfully, i ended up finding a studio and I just got a call that I got approved. Now I'm just trying to schedule a move in with them. At this point they are telling me January is a little later than they would like to have the place rented out. So I might actually be there in a week or two.
Finding a place that allows dogs is the hardest. A lot of places are so restricted. I avoided applying for the apartment complexes because they required too much just to approve you, so i mainly stuck to finding homes and stuff.
You're lucky you have someone to take care of your dog if you cant bring her up. I have no one to take my dogs in if i can't find a place that allows pets. My parents refuse to care for them, my sisters all have their own dogs and my boyfriend can't bring anymore dogs into his household..

Yeah I want to call, but I know they're probably swamped with stuff to do and I don't want to bug them. I'm curious though!
