Chemistry

My fellow pre-nursing students. Do not, I repeat, do not be afraid of chemistry. I was PETRIFIED until after I had my first class. Thankfully, our professor was a peach so learning was fun, for lack of a better word. There is math but it's mostly dimensional analysis (google it to get a leg up) and basic arithmetic.

Everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING, is basically a continuation of what you previously learned. It's almost like putting together a puzzle. If you don't have all the pieces (understand the lessons) you won't be able to finish and will get frustrated.

If you feel you are falling behind, even if it's on something you may deem simple, go to tutoring or speak to your professor.

If you need to memorize acids/bases please do so. You won't realize how often they come up until you're on your next chapter or the next test (and that's the worst time to forget). Lab is pretty basic so there's nothing to discuss there.

Good luck to everyone thinking of taking it, about to take it, still taking it and to all of us who have already taken it - thank the heavens it's over with.

Chemistry is one of the most difficult classes for me. Honestly, I'll be happy if I get a C in the class :/ My final is on Wednesday so I really have to do well!

Glad I eased your "fears" Glycerine! :)

Good luck Julie!
