Omg chemistry is taking up so much of my time. I didn't think it would be easy but I didn't think it would be difficult either. I am a good student I hope it becomes easier!!!!

I just started it too.....so far I hate it! I'm not that great at math so I feel totally lost. I have been to the Khanacademy website, got the homework helpers book, and just ordered a tutoring dvd. I am determined to do well. Just don't give up, good luck! :)

Mid-semester, talk to your instructor as to your progress and ask that person, "If you had to tally up my scores/grades today, what would be my final grade?" In my case, during labs one day, the instructor had a private conference with every student and told them where they were at grade wise. She told me that I had a "high C" and that with a little more effort , she could see me walk out of the class with a "B". At that point, I asked her what I could do to insure that I finished with a "B" and she told me what to do.Just hang in there. Limit social outings and phone calls, get a serious study buddy. If you have to do a project and is part of a group, use your strengths within that group so you can get a high grade (my strength was that I was a very good researcher).YOU CAN DO IT!

Yes, chemistry is hard. I like what the above poster said about limiting your social life. It takes a lot of your time and effort. If you put it in, you'll do well. If you don't, you won't do well.
Good luck. I hope you can get it all worked out.
