Chemistry online--good or bad idea?

Published

Hi, has anyone taken basic chemistry (not organic) through the CCC Online option? Wondering if it is a good idea and/or if Regis accepts online science courses. Any insight is appreciated!

thanks much! :)

Yes, I used financial aid in my last few semesters. You just run everything through your home college like you normally would, it was quite painless.

I'm taking biochem (chem102) this fall and it has a lab. I have been doing my core classes the last couple of semesters and I can't wait to get back into the sciences. Taking patho too this fall - its going to be awesome!! :D

Please help! I bought a labpaq online thru ebay and it did not come with the manual! do i really need it or will i be ok? if not... does anyone have a manual for chemistry 101 i can have/purchase????? my class starts next week

I took first semester general chemistry online through CCC and did great. However, I then took the second semester general chemistry at my university and failed, completely failed. Turns out the online class really didn't teach me a thing. I would not recommend it.

i know that this is kind of an old thread but maybe I can get some answers- I was wondering how the course is structured. Are there certain days/times that you come online and watch a lecture? Or do you just have to have taken the test by a certain date, etc.?
