Anyone else getting ready to apply for the 2018 nursing program?

did you guys apply to other programs as well? Is chemeketa your first choice?

Do you guys know how many people applied this year? For the entrance exam there is only 125 spots, and you can enroll in duplicate days. I checked the nursing packet again and it doesn't say you can only take it one time this year, and if you choose to retest that your most recent score counts. So I am wondering if they are allowing people to take it multiple times again? Not that it matters much since all are almost full.

Yikes! I am not able to register until tomorrow morning. So the April 5th test date is booked up already??

From what I understand, we can only take it once a year.

Yes! Only next week dates are available! There are only enough spots for 125 people and I found out about 200 applied! Not sure what that means for the 75 who can't register. Maybe they'll make more dates?

Did anyone else apply to OHSU Monmouth?

I just registered for the exam and the only available date to take it is on March 22! Can't believe I will be taking this exam next week!

Health Sciences sent out an email today saying they have opened more spots so you should be able to get into a later date if you need to!

acelia95, I applied to Monmouth! I have not heard anything about an interview yet though. Have you? The forum posts I read last year make it seem like they don't send you an interview invitation until a couple weeks before the interviews are scheduled.

I was able to sign up for april 6th since they added more spots!

No I haven't heard anything about an interview either.. in another forum on allnurses someone called and asked when we will be contacted for interview and OHSU said by next week sometime.
