In addition to tuition, students will be assessed an online fee of $40 per credit hour with a minimum of $50. The Online Fee is non-refundable after the Add/Drop period.
so that's $94 + 40=135 times 3 =$402 per 3 unit class.
So anyone else find anything cheaper than that?

I actually spoke with someone live yesterday, and it's not that my classes are too old, the math I did have does not constitute a "college" level algebra and a few other classes I guess do not correlate to what they want. So, in the end, it looks like I will have to take a few extra classes: the algebra, the oral communication/speech, and then the other requirements that they have: 12 humanities (think I haev), 3 interdisciplinary credits, and 12 social/behavioral sciences. Im not exactly sure what these represent....could you use your Sociolgoy, Psychology and Developmental psych for this? And what about the Humanties?

Kimber, I have to take both Stats and Algebra. I love algebra but have dropped Stats at my local CC because I just don't understand it! LOL Hehe but they did accept my speech/communication class! And I did not have to stand up and make any speeches in THAT class! LOL
Is it possible to take your humanities at your local CC? Here in CA we only pay $26/credit so I know I save money by taking classes here. Best of luck to you and let's stay in touch! I want to know where you end up going!
It looks like you have to attend one day a week to do RN-BSN but it can be done in one year of full time attendance. Darn for all of us who don't live in Texas! LOL!
The RN to BSN degree option is designed for the registered nurse who wishes to earn a baccalaureate degree. Students are admitted each fall and spring (some distance education sites admit students in fall or spring only) following completion of 60 hours of prerequisites. Students who enroll full-time can complete the nursing courses in two semesters, meeting all day one day per week for classroom instruction. Part time options are available.
The have an online RN-BSN program for anyone with an unrestricted RN license. You can live in any state to apply.
It looks like your A&P has to be within the past 5 yrs. and if not you can try to have that waived? I would not want to repeat those classes.
I am accepted to the University of Wyoming and for some reason my English Comp I does not qualify for their Englsih I but my English Comp 2 qualified for their English 2. Also, my interpersonal communication class did not get transferred for their oral communication class where as at my college here it did count. They say I can try to test out of the english 1.
There is a clinical component at the end but they said my current employer seems to qualify as a qualified setting for that which will work great for me as I have a supervisor RN willing to be my preceptor. I am still nervous about the online thing and things changing over time. Tuition now is $134/credit which seems so much more affordable than other places. I will have to take oral communication at my local college though, I am assuming as I don't see how I could take it online. ?
The University of Wyoming was recommended to me by the nrusing dpt cordinator at the University of South Dakota where I attended. USD is an NLN gold standard school....so I trust her judgement. When I go on for my BSN..I will prabably try to go with University of Wyoming.

From what I was told and read on their website, there were no time limit for general ed courses. But I just submitted my application and transcripts, so hopefully within the next 2 weeks I'll know which courses they will and will not accept. But my A&P 1 & 2 is only 3 years old.
The UofW also seemed like a very good option, due to the cost. But the extra cost and headache of going through a clinical again is what kept me from applying.

Also, all the literature they want I don't have and the Federal and Texas state government classes either. Let me know what they do accept.
I think UT Arlington without clinicals will be cheaper than UW with, because if I work those days instead of volunteering them, I do a little better than break even. Plus my hospital will pay for some of my tuition, and pay more if I go to UT than than UW due to UT charging more per credit hour, so UT wins by a nose.

Well help paying is always great! that's awesome. Unfortunately, I am paying out of pocket.
