I will have to research this. I would like to eventually get my DNP. I am waiting to hear from OSU for the MSN 2016 start.
I found out the answer to the question. The all time cheapest place to get you DNP is the Missouri State University. It's about 9k for the entire program and the program is 4 semesters full time. It looks really hard to get into and hard to get through though. I didn't even bother applying.

Aspen University Doctor of Nursing Practice
http://www.aspen.edu/degrees/doctoral-degree/doctor-of-nursing-practice
Tuition Rates $1350 per Course, 14 Courses, $18,900 Tuition + Fees
Doctor of Nursing Practice is $450.00 per credit hour, 42credits for the DNP degree. $18,900.
If you are ex-military and have tour DD214 paper, the tuition drops to 350$ a credit hour. Now that is one of the least costly DNP, programs in the USA.

Has anyone heard of US University in San Diego? They have a very affordable NP program. Just wondering if its reputable. Or if jobs even care where you get your degree from.
Thanks!

Aspen is CCNE accredited, which is good. But it is DEAC (nationally) accredited, which is not desirable, instead of regionally accredited. It is for-profit.
