Cheaper way to do Information Literacy for excelsior?

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone took the Information Literacy class that is required for excelsior elsewhere? I read that taking it through Penn State College is cheaper?

Anyone take it through another college besides excelsior to save money?

I am not sure if Excelsior accepts CLEP exams, but they are around $80.

I heard that Penn Foster is the way to go for Info Lit. You can try a search on here.. I am going to look into that too.

I did Info Lit through Penn Foster for $115. It took me about 2 hours to complete with an A! A few days later my transcripts were sent to Excelsior and my status report was updated. I think this is the way to go! Super easy and fast!

Yup, Penn Foster is def the way to go. Easy A and about $200 cheaper than EC.
