I am starting my clinicals this fall and I need to get a physical and titers done. I don't have health insurance so I'm worried it will be very expensive. I'm pretty much living off student loans now so I don't have much money to spend. Does anyone know of a low cost clinic I can get this done at? Please help!!

I don't know about titers, but if you have paperwork showing that you've had your vaccinations you should be fine. Places such as the minute clinic offer school physicals for $35 (reg $62). If you need titers talk to your schools health department I'm sure this is a common problem that they have answers for.

Your college's health department may even have an NP on staff who may do this on a sliding scale fee basis or a low rate. Doesn't your school require health insurance? I know that several do... good luck!
casi, they say that a vaccination record isn't enough but for the physical portion I will definitely try minute clinic.
I should have mentioned I'm starting the nursing program this fall (accelerated BSN) at NYU, so I can't exactly go to NYU's health center any time I want. I'm finishing up my pre-reqs at a community college that doesn't offer health services. NYU does require health insurance but since I don't start until September, I'm not going to pay for it now if I don't have to.

You could try public health to check whether sliding scale vaccinations are available. (It may be cheaper to be revaccinated.)
