Just got my email. I'm on the stand by list with 14 other people. Anyone know how often people from th stand by list actually end up joining the incoming class?

It's unpredictable because you never know how many people decide to decline their acceptance. Sometimes they wait until they hear from other nursing schools to decide before they make their commitment. One thing that hurts a lot of applicants this year is that there isn't a nursing program at Cleveland State (that I'm aware of) anymore, plus Chattanooga State's LPN program is being discontinued. Who knows? Maybe some Chattanooga State applicants will get into some other local schools like SAU, UTC, or even some in north Georgia, after which they would decline Chattanooga State.
