I wanted to see if anyone else on here plans to apply for the nursing program. I feel like my points (30) is pretty low, but Im still going to apply to see what happens. If you're applying, how many points do you have?

Im also applying with the score of a 30. I hope i get accepted and hope you all do too with the same score as me, this is my second time trying to get in, i tried Columbus Tech the first time around.

I scored a 30 as well and am applying. Good luck, I hope we both get in.

Fingers crossed for everyone! May will come around faster than we know it :)

Yes good luck to all of you! 7ish weeks to go í ½í¸©

Stupid question -- I cannot remember how anatomy grades are calculated. I made an A in lecture but a B in lab, do I receive 3 points for the A or 2 points for a B because they are averaged?

That's a good question! I took A&P at a different school and lab was just included in the lecture so I only got one grade. I'm thinking they probably only count the lecture grade, but I could be wrong.

I got this off of an older forum for fall of 2016 applicants. This person miscalculted her points because of grade confusion also:

"I counted my score wrong. I received an "A" in A&P I and II, but received a "B" in the Labs. I thought that I was to received 30 points, but instead received a "B" because the the grades was divided which gave me a 3.5 or "B"..."

I hope this helps.

You applied to columbus tech? So did I...I have been looking for other applicants to ask questions about the program and the process

@Dshonta23 I applied to CT last October.. they call you in mid December. I did not get in :(

dont get discouraged keep striving like your doing you'll get in somewhere I applied to the lpn program this year and was curious to see how many are accepted and how they select students im worried about my teas score..& accuplacer just wanted to see what my chances wère we dont find out until around May 7th

Does anyone know when we find out? I'm in the top ten on the alternate list at Southern Union, but CVCC is my first choice!

The website says letters will go out on the 14th of May but I spoke to the lady in the nursing office and she said that more than likely all letters will go out much sooner than that. They just have to have all letters mailed out by that date. I'm hoping letters go out first week of May!!
