  1. No I was not but I spoke with a friend who is GS already after I submitted negotiations and she told me about it. I have now completed everything and received a start date. I'm so excited!!
  2. You've completed everything already though?
  3. Did you recieve official offer already before being asked a start date and if so, how long after your official offer did they ask for a start?
  4. Hi VAN MG, BSN How long was your process and how long did it take before you were asked for a start date. I have completed my bg check and go for physical and drug screen next week. I'm still waiting for official offer though.
  5. Hey CoastGal, BSN I am also in the process of onboarding in the GS system but I found this pay scale which is a general one. The locality pay could change depending on where you live. Also, as a nurse the hiring manager told me that, like a civilian job, you can work and get paid overtime, double time for holidays, addditional 25% of hourly base pay for nights, and 35% of hourly base pay for weekends. However, I am in the process of negotiating step pay so we will see what happens. I was told I had to accept the offer first then submit negotiation with all other documents requested. Not much but hope this gives you a little more insight on the process. I attached the GS payscale for your reference. GS.pdf
  6. Thank you!! Yes I meant the fb group.
  7. I can't find the page...

  9. At this point I'm banking on Fiday at the earliest ????
  10. Times up!! Has anyone heard anything?
  11. Also, when I spoke to the coordinator at the beginning of March I was told that they had received less than 160 apps and only about 15 more during the extension period. They are accepting between 60-70 students is what she told me.
  12. From the website: How many days a week are the classes? The days and times of class vary by semester. On average, during the first two semesters of the program, will be held over the course of 4 days a week. Approximately two days of class time, one day of lab and one day of clinical. After the second semester, the average is two – three days a week. For Mobility students, the average is two – three days throughout the program.
  13. I just made the same call and just seen that you posted about it already lol. I'm so impatient!!!
  14. Update!!! Letters will be sent out before 530 tonight. I'm assuming 430 we should get emails lol.
  15. Ok thank you!! That's a relief because I'm over here going crazy trying to figure out which email to check!!
