Nursing Students School Programs

Hello Everyone! I've found it super helpful and encouraging reading previous threads from Chattahoochee Tech's ASN hopefuls in the past. I was really hoping to start a thread for anyone who is planning on applying for Chattahoochee Tech's ASN program this Fall of 2017 - this way, we can share helpful information with each other and provide words of encouragement for one another. Anyone who wants to comment or ask any questions is more than welcome to! I hope that we all get in!!!!

Hello do you remember how many days you went to class/week?

Hey LC,

I may be a little late for this post as I am trying to apply for the fall 2018 program. A little history about myself, I'm a current respiratory therapist here in Marietta, Ga; Ive been actively working for the last 4 years. I am looking for a career change to hopefullly go on to CRNA school. I'm quite nervous to apply an transition over into the nursing world, but there's way more opportunities for advancement and career building. My question is what do you all look for when making a decision on a candidate? I'm speaking in terms of beyond the points system that is outlined. Also, I was curious to know have you all ever had any other people who have taken this route after being a respiratory therapist? I have completed all of my courses, so I am only left with taking the TEAS exam. I hope I'm able to get in and start in a new career.

This is for anyone who is currently in the program-I just heard that the school does not offer any type of federal loan, how do everyone pay? Thanks

I'm paying out of pocket as well as other students. There's also a program in the school that will help you based on income that some students utilize.
