Chattahoochee Technical College ASN Fall 2014

Has anyone applied to Chattahoochee Tech ASN Fall 2014?

Someone told me they might. Who knows for sure. I personally think they want to see how you would handle certain issues

I didn't even think to shake their hands. Oh well I guess time will tell how we did. They were so hard to read as far as if it was going well or not.

Has anyone heard anything about the LPN-ADN Bridge program? Unfortunately I wasn't accepted this year so I'm trying to think of my game plan. Do any of you have any other schools in mind? I know there is Highlands and Georgia Perimeter. (Although I've heard bad things about perimeter) I'll prob reapply next year, but the waiting game is hard! Good luck!

I believe they mentioned something about it at the info sessions but it is still a while away because they need more personnel to take that on, but they are looking into it.

My cohort is constantly asking the LPN instructors about the bridge program. Their standard answer is the same as what was given out at the information session. Keeping in mind that they have the same boss as was in attendance the night of the meeting. I think it is more about waiting on their ASN accreditation to come through so that the bridge would be accredited when they offer it again. That's what we think anyway. Some of my cohort is looking into an online program through Indiana State. A representative has already came out and met with some of the other students. Grants are available, it is nationally accredited, and it is a BSRN program. I just have not had chemistry and didn't want to sit out another year until I get it.

who was on the panel this year for interviews?

Hey! Have any of you guys heard anything?? I keep opening my email, hoping to see something! LOL!

No nothing yet, I keep doing the same! The waiting and not knowing is killing me slowly LOL!

At my interview they told ume that I would hear back in my CTC email in two weeks which would be the first week of July. I think they were afraid I would start emailing and asking like I did before. Ha ha ha!!

They told me two weeks also. So, we are down one week with one to go. School is closed next Friday so the letters may go out Thursday(fingers crossed)!!

I got my acceptance to Ga Highlands Thursday! I'm so excited and overwhelmed. Good luck to you all on your journey!

Awesome Lauren!!! Is the Nursing program in Dallas or Rome? I plan on applying to others now as well since Chattahoochee Tech was a no go. (Makes sense when you think about the fact they only accept around 40 students) It's annoying how they all need different things! Oh well! :) Congrats!!
