Has anyone applied to Chattahoochee Tech ASN Fall 2014?
Thank you so much for the advice! It is very scary thinking about walking into a panel like this, but I'm hoping for the best. Best of luck to you as well :-) I don't have any nursing or cna type experience so it was daunting wondering what type of questions they'd be asking. I've done a medical program before so I know how time consuming these programs can be, but it was veterinary medical technology not people and I didn't have to interview to get in the program lol. My fingers are crossed that this is your year!!
Hey Lauren, I got the messages and I would be glad to do that. Thank you so much! It won't let me private message you though. My email is [email protected]. Can you email me or add me on facebook https://www.facebook.com/jennifer.lkelly2 and I'll send you a message tomorrow.
The interview was a panel of 4 and 9 questions long. Pretty standard stuff. I could not get a feel for how well or poorly I was doing during the interview. Its all over but the waiting now. Good luck to all. They said it would be about two weeks and to watch my CTC email for information.
I thought the same thing when I signed in. I was thirty minutes early but the assistant said that they were ahead of schedule and they were just finishing up with another lady. They did call me by name so I am assuming I was next although I expected another person to go in front of me. I thanked them but did not shake hands with each of them so I don't know how many points they will deduct for that. I was also stunned they did not ask if I had any questions at the end. The interview just abruptly ended. My LPN interview was much more relaxed and the instructors smiled a lot and tried to make you feel at ease. Totally different feeling in the ASN interview.
They deduct points for not shaking hands? I thanked them but didn't shake hands either. I didn't notice any blank spots when I signed in but mine was fairly early in the day Tuesday. They didn't ask if I had any questions either, but I took it upon myself to ask a few and the dean thanked me for asking questions.

I've only got 206 without the interview. Just be yourself and answer with confidence. They were more questions focused on the role of a nurse...not behavioral type questions. It's a little scary walking in to a panel but they are all very friendly. :-)
