Who has applied to CTC for Fall 2015 ASN?
I noticed last year's group on allnurses, and I thought I'd start us off with a thread for Fall 2015 hopefuls.
off the bat she told me 2 weeks, did they let u ask questions at the end? I went today, did they give u any info? Good luck to all. I thought the interview was thorough and fair, if you haven't gone yet don't be nervous. It was tough to read the reactions of the panel. Anyone else think so?
Yeh, they teach that poker face in interviewing school for sure!
How do yall feel about those interviews? Did you guys get to ask questions or did you run out of time? What info did you get from the interviewers? They told me the program is moving to Paulding.
I worked hard preparing for it but I think that couple of questions were tough and threw me off to the point I started rambling. Maybe my 4.0 program GPA will represent me more then my interview did....
I wish everyone the best of luck.

I was the same way. Surely they know that it is next to impossible to come in there sans nerves. This is one of the biggest interviews of our lives! watching them scribble on their papers as I talked was a little nerve wracking for me...
Good luck though! And even if the outcome isn't what we want, DO NOT GIVE UP!
Yea you guys will start at Paulding campus... we should be there by the fall too though. You guys are lucky.. Its SOOO much nicer at Paulding.
As far as clinical sites... for fundamentals there are not just 3.. Theres Grady, Northside Cherokee, Piedmont Fayette, a hospice place and an assisted living place. At least thats what it was for us. So I guess you're all done with interviews? There was one person on the panel you needed to impress lol. Ms. Pittman-Howell. Shes our program director. Anyway.. Good luck to you all! Since I am student council, I will meet all of you who get accepted on your orientation days in July.

That was nerve wrecking for me as well. But I was definitely even more nervous when I gave an answer and they DIDNT write anything down! Ugh. I noticed the woman on my right drew a smiley on one of the answers at the beginning.... And then it went down hill from there lol
Thank you. Good Luck to you as well. I won't give up: I've come too far. I'll just have to find a new route.
:)

Ugh I didn't know that was her!! And I'm kicking myself now because I had a chance to tell them that I wanted to join the nursing student association and I forgot! :/
I'm excited to meet you all, Philly, at the orientation. (I'm thinking positively. I'm choosing not to worry about the answer that is two whole weeks away.)
Any my suggestions or tips for us while we wait? The next items on my to-do list is to finish streamlining my house and finding my immunization records.
Good idea!! Do those two things. And start saying good by to all your friends/family and that you'll see them all in 15 months lol.. but seriously. A bunch of people would cook a bunch of meals and freeze them during down time so they had dinners/lunches all ready. But you wont need to do that till late July. Are you guys finished with interviews now?
