Anyone applying to Chattahoochee Tech for the Fall 2012 ADN program?

got an email today as well. it states, "this email is to notify you that a letter from chattahoochee technical college’s health sciences office has been mailed to you via us mail to the mailing address you listed on your completed associate of science in nursing program application. this letter is time sensitive and concerns your program application." does it say the same for you all? i'm just so anxious.

And yes, the wording is exactly the same on mine aldCMA. At first I thought it was good, but then when I read the older posts, it was the same email when ppl got rejection notices.

Don't know what to think...hope for the best I guess. Best of luck y'all, and hope we're together in August! :)

I got my email today too. I'll be waiting by the mail box tomorrow! Does anybody know about the accreditation situation? I've heard this past month that the nursing program lost its accreditation but then someone told me it was just a rumor.

My email said the same thing. I too am worried that our letters sound the same as those who were rejected. I feel like 90 and above must be good scores bc when I went for advisement I was told that I would probably need at least an 85. The last I heard on this post they had eliminated everyone under 84.something. If I don't get accepted I will be really disappointed. I will probably go to highlands if I get accepted there unless ctc starts doing loans but I would like to have the option in case I don't get in to highlands. Has anyone else applied to highlands and if so where would you rather go if you had the choice?

Interesting. I never knew until you pointed it out, and I double checked, that CTC did not participate in the federal student or parent loan program. I have gratefully been able to attend in large part due to the Hope Scholarship and wrongly assumed federal student loans were available. I, too, have applied to GHC. There are pros and cons for me for both. GHC Marietta campus is closer to where I live than the CTC Austell campus, but I have taken CTC courses all along and therefore would have to take 4 more courses that I hadn't planned on if I go to GHC. Perhaps if you prefer CTC you can take advantage of the Hope Scholarship like I do. It pays almost all my tuition and fees. Good luck whatever you do.

Pros and cons for each for me too. I am in Woodstock so ghc highlands is def closer, traffic wise Rome is a better drive compared to Austell. I have already taken ghc's prereqs. I am just attached to Ctc bc I have been going there so long. I have hope but it won't cover expenses so I'm not sure what I'll do.

I did receive a letter today saying that I had been accepted to the program. Good luck to everyone still waiting and be sure to check your mailboxes! Hope to see you all in August!
