The problem with this is that the care plans have to be developed from their assessment. I did the same and was able to generate the care plan without an assessment. It is general so the student will need specific information in the interventions to develop care plans.

Students are pretty tech savvy. If I were one I would generate a care plan with use of the assessment data. And also create a nursing diagnosis with interventions from the assessment data. What makes ChatGPT worth it is the data input. I've been playing with ChatGPT and it's quite amazing.
I agree that artificial intelligence, like ChatGPT, is a rapidly advancing technology that has the potential to greatly impact academia and many other fields. While AI can be a useful tool for generating ideas and information, it's important to use critical thinking and evaluate sources to ensure that the information is accurate and credible.

I hope as educators everyone's trying to keep up with what's going on with artificial intelligence, because ChatGPT is a game changer. Finally, I was able to create an account and log in. It generated a nursing care plan with 8 interventions, and 10 cardiac nursing diagnoses. I'm speechless! The one thing it did not provide was a credible source for the interventions. I would think that many students, including those in nursing school, are using this new technology to write their care plans, papers, and powerpoints for projects.
I'm exctied about ChatGPT but it's going to impact academia. You'll have to ask yourself did the student write this paper or did artificial intelligence write it?
