Anyone on the northshore applying? Would love to find a group to study/carpool with after we get in!
Charity isn't my only choice. I got my BS in Psychology Pre Med and Biology. But my overall GPA was awful. However my Pre reqs GPA is a 3.75 (Xavier wanted to fit 3 full semesters in from January-July after Katrina not good for a junior Pre med major. I was sure I would die). So maybe because my BS GPA wasn't high and I didn't complete one of my a&p labs. So now that my lab is done I'll get additional points.
I also applied to LSU for Fall 2013, NYU their accelerated program and Mercer University in GA. I'm from NYC and have been living in NOLA for about 10 years now so I'm open to moving or doing what I have to do to get it done. It sucks that I didn't get in the 1st round but I've used my time wisely. I work a day job and overnight. Trying to save every penny I can so I can focus on school and not on how my bills are going to get paid.
I don't live on the northshore..but I turned in my application on Monday and I am so nervous:nailbiting: I don't understand why they have us waiting all the way until April to find out. I heard that the profile cut off for Spring 2013 was 65. They won't know how many they are accepting until April..I pray I get in:).
Yes the lowest score they excepted was a 65 bc I had a 60 and did not get it.. My friend had a 65 and got in.. The deadline was moved today because of so many people still needed to take the hesi..
