I know I'm early but I'm super excited to begin nursing school. I was wondering if anyone else here is planning to apply to Charity for Fall 2012? Are you done with your prereqs? Taken the HESI? What's your profile score?
I have taken all of my prereqs but it has been 6 years since I took A&P II lecture/lab so I'm taking it now at Delgado. I'm taking the lecture online and I go on campus for the lab. We have only done one exercise in lab so far and I already feel like its not going to be very easy. I took the HESI on Monday and I did pretty well so I'm done with that thank God!
I calculated my profile score and if I get an A in the A&P lecture I'll have 70 points. If I get a B or C, I'll have 65 points. I'm super nervous because when I talked to the admissions lady at Charity she told me the cut off tends to be a bit higher for the Fall semester than the Spring. From reading the forum, it looks like the cut off for Spring 2012 was around a 55 so I'm worried that the cut off for Fall will be like 75!

shawn39, I agree. I have a low Natural haircut. If they group us by clinical groups, it should be easy to figure it out unless I'm not the only one in the group like that. lol. If we where name tags my real name begin with an E.
shawn39,I chose University because I knew I would get alot of experience there. Also, I don't like to go to Jefferson Parish, unless I have too. I live in Algiers. So, I kinda think downtown is closer!
Yay!! I went up to a lady who I thought was shawn 39, and it turned out to be firehorse instead. Had to laugh. She had on a white shirt with short hair. Oh well!
Nurseflow, I asked someone who graduated from CSN, and she said that we will love our pharm instructor. I'm so glad to hear that!!! I heard there were people that didn't even show up today.
That's crazy and funny! After all they went through with the health forms and other things u would think they were present! I enjoyed todays orientation though. I won a door prize too.
Hey Guys, I didnt meet anyone who was on allnurses.I heard there is only one Pharm teacher right now because the other teacher retired. So what did you think about orientation?
