  1. You only need the first A&P lecture and leb, but you get more points on your profile score if both of them are completed. The CSN gpa is the gpa of all of the prereq's that you have to apply for the csn program. The DCC gpa is the gpa that is calculated for classes that were ONLY taken at DCC. Then, your overall gpa is the gpa that is claculated for courses taken at ANY college that you have attended. Did you see a sample profile on the CSN website? It is under the Prospective Students tab, and then click on "Admission Requirements", then click on "Academic Assessment Form". You can figure out your own profile score. The cut-off for our class was a 75.
  2. They should have a flyer at the receptionist's desk in the lobby about how to get a tag. Lat semester, we had to have our vehicle registration, and a check, cash, or credit car for $125. $100 is for the parking, and $25 was for the tag. The flyer should tell you where to go at the Parking office at LSU. I took the sky walk to the office, and it's a very long walk. Just be sure to take care of it the very first day of school. I went at the end of the first week, and the lady said there were 3 spots left. And about 3 weeks ago, they sent a letter to the current tag holder students to re-new it before 1/7 to guarantee us a spot.
  3. Jadeboots, I can't say on here. Are you able to send private messages?
  4. Hi everyone, I just finished Level 1. You want sections 302, 308, 309, 310, or 312. 301 is good too. You do NOT want 305 or 316. I had 308, and we loved her! Our team was combined with 309, 310, and 311, and our team as a whole did really well.
  5. It won't let me send it to you. So sorry!!!! Maybe someone else can try. I even saved it in Word, and it still won't work. I'm in 310. Do you have all of the other tabs??
  6. I don't know either. I'm trying to do as much as I can.
  7. nurseflow, I can try to send it to you in a PM on here since you can't open it. Wait, what section are u in?? I guess it doesn't matter though b/c it's all the same material.
  8. If you go the tab on the left side of the page that says "exams", click on that and that's where you will see it. I did Ch1 in Perry and Potter and Ch29 was sooo long, it took me 2 1/2 days to finish it with taking my own notes as I read. I watched the Mosby's videos too, but that's it. I'm going to do as much as I can by tomorrow night. That's all I can do.
  9. Thanks, Mamisu, I just found it on mine too. Yay!! I saw the calendar, it's a lot!! Did you see the Point Distribution for the exams?? There will be 7 questions just from Orientation. I wonder what they could be. I just want the first test to be over already! Does anyone know if we're supposed to bring the nurse pack along with stethescope and bp cuff, etc.. the first day??
  10. The password is the last 4 digits of your social. I thought she meant that we have to register once we are in BB?? But there is nowhere to put that password once you're in there. I guess they'll tell us what to do on Tues.
  11. It does say the 15th on the book store website. I would not know what date to go by though.
  12. Book Credits available at the DCC bookstore - August 20-27, 2012. Book store registration schedule is as follows: Monday - Friday 8am-7pm and Saturday, August 18 &25 8a -12pm. nurseflow, this is what is on the dcc website under financial aid deadlines and requirememnts, and when I asked the financial aid lady at school she confirmed it so I guess they are giving out different dates. Just giving people a heads up in case they go there for nothing.
  13. Manisu, I feel your pain, trust me!!! I finally got to sign my promissory note on Fri after waiting for 5 hrs at the Covington location to sign it. Yes, 5 hrs, from 1-6. Anyway, my Lola doesn't even say that I have an award even though I know I do. But there is someone in our Level 1 class who also works in the fin aid dept at CP, and she said that as long as the prom note is signed, the classes won't be dropped. I can tell for sure that the book vouchers do not start until the 20th which does not do me any good b/c of the assignments. I used my husband's credit card to pay for the ebooks today. I would be more than happy to let you borrow mine, but it's set up to where 2 people can't be logged into it at once b/c me and another student were thinking about splitting the cost. But like I said before, some people can't afford the ebooks and are having to buy the print version online. I was scared to wait until the 20th b/c I know that we're going to be given more readings the first week of school.
  14. No, I don't see where they want us to put that password. I calledd the school, and the lady said that they received many calls about it today, but that we would need to email our coordinator, and I did, but she hasn't written back yet.
  15. Thank u, but I still don't have any word on my appeal for max hrs through Lola. I stood in line for 3 1/2 hrs yesterday just for them to tell me that they're working on the appeals. I turned mine in a week before the deadline; therefore, it should have been approved by now. I don't know what the problem is. Tomorrow is the deadline to pay for your classes. So, I can't apply for the book scholarship unless my classes have been held by payment or financial aid. So, they're going to have to just drop me from my classes. Some people have already deferred for another semester b/c they haven't heard from financial aid and they can't pay for it themselves. If they could, they wouldn't have applied for aid. I did tell my mom about it though since hers was approved.
