I know I'm early but I'm super excited to begin nursing school. I was wondering if anyone else here is planning to apply to Charity for Fall 2012? Are you done with your prereqs? Taken the HESI? What's your profile score?
I have taken all of my prereqs but it has been 6 years since I took A&P II lecture/lab so I'm taking it now at Delgado. I'm taking the lecture online and I go on campus for the lab. We have only done one exercise in lab so far and I already feel like its not going to be very easy. I took the HESI on Monday and I did pretty well so I'm done with that thank God!
I calculated my profile score and if I get an A in the A&P lecture I'll have 70 points. If I get a B or C, I'll have 65 points. I'm super nervous because when I talked to the admissions lady at Charity she told me the cut off tends to be a bit higher for the Fall semester than the Spring. From reading the forum, it looks like the cut off for Spring 2012 was around a 55 so I'm worried that the cut off for Fall will be like 75!

Rmed...I am going to have lecture on thursday/friday. What about you? Still wanting some feedback about possible carpooling from mandeville, does anyone want to ride together for orientation?? I have been going through the fundamental sucess book and find it gets easier as I learn how to read the question...some things I just don't know, but that is expected.

I am game for the 22nd. I have not started reading the book but will soon. I also have a dosage book that my advisor gave me to look at. If anyone is interested in that book let me know. Can't wait to see you all at orientation.
I've only gotten through Ch 2 so far. I can NOT believe school is this close to starting. I have so many emotions over the whole thing. I'll email you about the meet and greet when it gets closer. I hope more people want to come because the 3 of us already met each other. lol Have you heard anything about that overhead walkway from the other side of the street by St Joseph?? Are we allowed to use it?
I will be attending Charity in the fall. I would love to attend the meet and greet. I am enrolled in section 304 and section 316. Is anyone enrolled in these sections as well?
Hey Shawn39, I'm in 301 and 309. We will probably meet in Slidell. Don't know if you want to drive that far, but we would love for you to come!!! So, are your clinicals on the Westbank? I'm guessing they are since you live over there.
I'm interested in attending a meet and greet also. How many people are able to come? I haven't been on in a while. I had micro this summer (5 chapters a week) and I have been swamped. :cheers:
Hey guys, am on my way back from montana and wondering about the meet/greet. I would prefer to do this in mandeville and my house is a good place if there is not another chosen yet. We can put together some snacks, soft drinks, or whatever you want! I won't be home until late tonight so cannot do the planning....**** I nominate you!!
