Charity school of nursing spring 2017?

Hello everyone, I know the application date is not till August but I am already nervous and stressed about getting accepted to CSN for spring 2017. Anyone else applying this August?

Hi everyone! I'm applying for the spring as well. I have a profile score of 65 (0 points on Ws and Ds and Fs section, all prereqs completed, 3.3 CSN GPA, 2.87 Cum. GPA, and 93 on Hesi). I'm wondering if I should see about a spot at Sidney Collier on the 15th to try and get a 95 which would obviously be pushing it. I also can't really afford it currently but would do it if itmeant getting it. Do you guys think the 65 will be good enough or should I be trying for the 70?

I thought I was only going to have a 65 but I came out with a 70. I heard that they have accepted 65 for the last 3 consecutive semesters and with your high HESI score I would think you have a good shot!

Thanks! I definitely hope so, especially since I've heard it's usually better to apply in the spring. I'm just sooooo nervous!!!

Hi guys! I also applied to Charity for the Spring 2017 term. I mailed in my application a few days ago...now the nerves will stick around for a few months. I never got to meet with an advisor but when I calculated my profile score I'm either sitting at an 80-85. I graduated from Southern Miss in Dec. 2015 and took Microbiology while I was there but it was Micro for nursing majors (not science majors) and when I sent my transcript over to Delgado it showed an "XXX" by that micro class on my transcript. So I'm assuming it couldn't transfer over; without it I'll just be short that class from having all my prereqs done! I took the HESI and scored an 84...not the best but it seemed to boost me up on my profile score compared to my first HESI score! Hopefully it all goes well for everyone and I'm excited for October to come around! I also tried to join the Facebook group!

Hi....I turned in my application my profile score is a 75 all I have left to take is statistics and English 102 in the fall. I'm gonna be a nervous wreck until October.

Hey all...turned in my application yesterday afternoon and it already feels like it was a long time ago! This next month and a half are going to be chock full of nerves! It was pretty cool to go back and read the threads from previous years applicants. They felt exactly like we do nerves and all! Pretty exciting to read their responses when they got their letters too. Cant wait to see that here! Best of luck to all of you! :-)
