Hey, just wanted to create this forum for people that are going to apply to Charity for Fall 2019. That's when I feel I will be ready to apply! I'm still working on my prereqs!

(I had a profile score of only 40 and my denial letter said 50 was the lowest they accepted) I hadn't had ap2 or the points for my hesi. It was more of a "just in case I get in" chance. Lol.
After my hesi, I should have a 65! Depending on GPA. My GPA did go down since AP2 is not completed. Reading y'all scores, it seems like y'all all have a very good chance.
Good luck to everyone. The waiting period, thankfully, isn't as long as it was last semester.
Good luck to you too! Have you taken your HESI yet?
65 is a good score!

Did they give you a specific reason why you didn’t get accepted when you received the denial letters? Did they put your profile score on the denial letter?
At the time I thought I had done all csn courses but I was missing a math. I haven't applied in 2 years. Stats was super hard I can't believe i even passed to be honest. I was going through so much at the time. My sister died in January of last year and then in April my boyfriend of 8 years, his 14 year old sister committed suicide and then at the end of May I found out something horrible that I won't post on here but I managed to stick it out and I went to class every single day with so much on my mind and tears running down my face most days. It was hard. I turned in my application on what would have been my sister's birthday so I feel like it was good luck
Ahhh!! I just turned in my application today and took the hesi today. Im starting to feel really nervous after reading this group chat... I made an 87 on hesi, should have studied harder maybe but my point score is 60. I withdrew from 2 classes 4 years ago so thats against me and my gpa is 3.5 I went to talk to an advisor a month ago and she said a 60 will get you in. Its still stressful though. Does anyone know how many students they admit per semester?

From what I've heard the average amount of people that apply each acceptance period is around 500 and they usually accept between 130-150.
60 is a decent profile score and an 87 on the HESI is really good! They have accepted people with scores as low as 50 in the past. But I think it really all depends on the pool of applicants and what the average scores are.

Wow, that's a tough story to read. Good for you for sticking it out and persevering through school!
I think the hard things we have to go through in life definitely make us stronger if we allow it to.
Wishing you the best.

What?? Where did you hear that from? I went to the last advising session, about a month ago and Ms. Thornton said that you are allowed to take it as many times as you want.
I don't think they are offering the HESI now, or soon they won't be. Instead it will be some another type of entrance exam, the Kaplan or something. But, I didn't think it would be limited to only twice a year.
