Hi, all... So I am applying in January 2018 for the fall 18` semester. I wanted to start a thread to not only have a place where can all ask questions and share info but to hopefully make some friends to start the program with. I know several girls and guys who have completed the program and having a good relationship with your peers is a must.

Ugh!! Thanks for calling. Lol. It has been so brutal. Friends that have graduated said that they didn't take that long to hear back. I spoke to a girl on Twitter who applied last year for last Fall and they gave them the date of 3/31 but she got her email on 3/20. So maybe we will hear back by the 31st?! Fingers crossed!!I just have this weird feeling that I'm not going to get in.
What makes you think you won't get in?
100. I have a degree, have over a 3.0 GPA, and a 92 on my HESI. I'm just worried that they won't take some of my courses because they are right at 10 years old and that large PDF bulletin says that they don't have to accept it.
I've been reading a lot of other comments on other forums and they just make it seem like they get really picky.
I know that we all very anxious, I don't understand why it takes nearly two and a half months to find out if your accepted or not. The lady in the meeting did say that we will find out close to the date they told us, April 11 I think. I don't expect anything this month. Last fall they got their letters a week before the date they was given.

Yea. I was thinking we may find out like March 31 or April 1st. I have some friends who applied to Southeastern nursing and they told them at the end of March but they found out like 2 weeks ago. But they only take their nursing curriculum pre-reqs GPA into account.
AHHH the wait is stressing me out... I just want to know! Trying to stay busy and focused on my classes but I`m worried about being denied and needing a plan b :-/
That's exactly how I feel. I don't really have a plan B. Well, my plan B is to do the LPN track either at Delgado or somewhere else and then maybe go to Southeastern and do the LPN to BSN track that I think they have there.

This has me really nervous , some of my classes are old too

I tried to go find it yesterday but I couldn't but I know I saw it in there. I'm hoping they look at my scores and GPA and are like, "this isn't an issue," and accept me. Lol. Glad I found this post on this website. Hoping we all get good news!
Also, I had read on other posts to go there if you get rejected and go over your profile score because sometimes they get it wrong.
