Chamberlain Sacramento Fall 2018

Hey everyone,

I applied to the Sacramento Chamberlain Fall 2018 program. I did not see any other forums for this particular start date, so I wanted to start one. I just finished my Hesi attempt number two, and now I'm just waiting for the month to be over to hear some good news. I wish us all good luck!

That's odd! Maybe they want to make more money? Have you gotten a call yet?

That might be- the national advisor I had first said it's review, and that no one can finish the BSN in less than 27 months ( since I have a bunch of pre-reqs from my Bio Bachelors, I would have to re-take some of them).

No call yet-- I have been so anxious waiting,but I read a forum that said there is a call, and then an in person interview, so the call alone doesn't even mean we're in from what I understand. :(

Hmmmmm one of my friends who got accepted for fall 2017 said that her "interview" counted as her in person tour before she applied but we haven't had a tour yet so they might have switched it around!

Oh, interesting. I went to an open house, but did not get the chance to actually meet with any mentors then...so do you know if that tour is offered only once you are accepted?

I don't know for sure but I hope so!! She said when she went on the tour before she applied they took notes about her and placed them into her file

I really think they are going in alphabetical order; my last name starts wit S and my friend's starts with D. Another guy who got a call the day of the meeting last year had a last name that started with B.

I didn't get a call- I checked my phone well over a reasonable amount of times today! haha! But, I think that would be a logical reason for why. My last name starts with an R, so maybe you and I will get a call the same day. The sacramento campus isn't open on Friday from what I understand for admissions, so I am guessing Monday or Tuesday might be our days

It looks like they are open until 4 tomorrow according to the website (I think ? And i hope lol)

I hope so! I figured it would be the same as testing- they told me they didn't administer the HESI on Fri bc the admissions office wasn't open. But maybe overtime???Ah! either way, will update as soon as I hear anything.

Idk how it works but they have multiple committee meetings. My advisor said mine will be in the first two weeks of may. I read in previous forums some people not finding out until July and august. Maybe it is based on when your file was completed? Idk if that means they have a quota for how many they accept each meeting or if your file rolls to the next one if you don't get in? They don't really tell you much about their admissions process. I have a 3.4 overall gpa but some is from 10 years ago and my last 2 years has been 3.7 so I hope they care more about that and my hesitation.

Did anyone that applied to other schools get accepted today? Sac state, Sierra and SCC went out today. I got in the Fall class at SCC! I would rather go to Chamberlain but atleast I have a back up school just in case.
