HI EVERYONE, i am new to this website. I am seriously considering Chamberlains RN to BSN online program. I am an RN out of school long time. Is is better to start with one course at a time? Also do I have to be a computer wiz to complete courses? I have basic computer knowledge, no experience with APA format writing papers. Thanks.

Your first class will acquaint you with APA and get you in the groove of online courses as well as returning to school. I think one course would be wise. :) Best of luck!
Is the math placement test very hard? should i review algebra before I take it? Thanks.
Sorry, I don't know - I already had math credits from prior degrees, so I didn't have to take it.

I hadn't taken algebra since 10th grade. I am a 40 year RN. I reviewed algebra and knew to take the class. I have taken 3 sets of two courses per 8 weeks. I work 72 hours/pay period. It is work, eat, homework and fall into bed. Do it again the next day. I am not computer savvy. I have had to get computer help. It has been the hardest part. There are no students to speak with unless you reach out. Your computer becomes an umbilical cord.

I have started looking into Chamberlain, the other program I'm looking into is UM-Flint, both are online programs. Not sure if I want to spend the $60 and apply just to find out it's too expensive.
