Hello all!!! I am seriously thinking about applying to Chamberlain Nursing school. I am currently at a local technical college and not wanting to wait on being excepted into the nursing program. Does any one know if there are evening classes? Does any one have any suggestion on this school. Good? Bad? Please help and thank you in advance :)

Be aware that DeVry (parent company of Chamberlin) is facing increasing Federal scrutiny right now - related to Federal funding. Corinthian (parent company of Everest) folded last week. ITT may be next. Education Management -parent company of Brown Mackie is also in a heap of trouble. Here's the info.

Don't go!!! They just want your money and most employers do not hire graduates from these schools. There is a reason there is no waiting list at these type of schools .

Don't go to Chamberlin, they only want your money. I inquired into Chamberlin because I could obtain a BSN in the same amount of time as an ASN, then I found out it's $87,000 to complete your 3 year BSN through them. To put it in perspective, if I stick with my local CC for my ASN it will cost me just under $7000. You can always transfer out to a reputable school for your BSN once you've obtained your ASN, this will save you a lot of money in the long run!
Hay!!! Thanks so much for your guys input!!!! :)
Thanks so much!!! I was a little skeptical about the tuition, so not cool with that lol. I am going to stick with a tech or community college :). Do you have any idea why the college is sooooooo expensive??
