I plan on starting in January at the miramar campus and I am kinda hoping to connect with others who are also or any almuni willing to give any pointers, motivation, or input on the program and what to expect. I hope creating this will be helpful!

The HESI is pretty simple if you give it about a week of brushing up on all the subjects they will be testing you on. I got the Hesi PockPrep app (purple and white and about $14 I believe) and I think that was one of my favorite study tools! I also watched crashcourse anatomy videos on youtube, there are about 40 of them. Start on lesson 1 and just work your way to the end. They were entertaining and touched on all anatomical areas.
I also got this book and read through it all and made flashcards. Admission Assessment Exam Review, 4e: 978

Hey guys do you think it's worth the money to go to chamberlain like how did you guys pay for it???? I'm really considering it but the cost has me scared ?? Does the school offer a loan themselves to help you cover the cost

They do have loans. The different ones are listed on their website. Also, you pay as you go so you only pay for the 8 weeks you are currently taking. You can always cut this cost drastically by taking all basic courses like math, humanities, etc at another college and transfer them to dropped tuition costs.
That's what I did :)...I will be applying for Summer '18.
I took all my pre reqs at a community college and just had my student services meeting where they went over all the financial stuff. After financial aid and federal loans my out of pocket will be about $700 for session 1 and $400 for session 2. So my out of pocket expenses are minimal and since you aren't on campus very often in the beginning I will be able to continue working full time. I think affordability depends on the amount of aid you qualify for.
Dang, I hope I have enough loans to help me avoid out of pocket expenses...im gonna be barely cutting it because I will be dropping in my hours...

I decided against private loans just to try to cut the debt I will have after graduation, but depending on your credit, you would be able to cover the additional costs with private loans. The best private student loan I found is from PNC bank, but definitely do some research and see if taking that route is doable for you.

It almost impossible to not have to get some loans on your own. I found out that if your a dependent student you can only get $31,000 from the government which doesn't go far, but there are a lot of private student loans options. Personal loans are an options too but only if you can afford to pay them now, which most students can't. Thats what I'm doing
Im married with 1 child. I make okay income now but will be decreasing my work hours by a lot when I start the program. So hopefully I qualify for the max financial aid and loans. I will be transferring in with 41 credits.
