Chamberlain Last Resort Loan.

Hi everyone Ive been accepted into Chamberlain College of Nursing for the Spring 2014 session. I applied for private loans to cover the remaining balance of my education for Chamberlain, but I was denied the loan by myself and with the cosigner i signed up with. My last option and hope for attending Chamberlain College of Nursing is the loan that Chamberlain offers through the school. Has anyone taken out this loan? Is it difficult to get? What are the requirements to recieve it?

I remember discussing this with my advisor. Some points I recall are they cover your costs for school, you start making payments immediately, and must be denied with a consigner. I'm sure your advisor can provide you with full information.

Do you remember if it's credit based of not?

No I don't remember how they base the amount, or any interest.

Is this loan still offered? I will not be able to receive any financial aid until at least 1yr into the program. Any insight will be greatly appreciated
