  1. Hi everybody, I am currently finishing up my second eight week session in my accelerated BSN program. I can honestly say that I am proud of myself. The first session I got an A in A&P, I got an A in College Algebra, and I got a B in Sociology. All the while working full-time and raising three boys by myself. I am taking finals next week and I am going into my finals with all As in A&P 2, Adv. English Comp, and Transitions into Nursing. This has been a challenge but I refuse to give up and I have all the fight in me in the world. My journey is far from over, I am just getting started but when I get discouraged I take a step back and remember this is my dream and I won't stop until I see it come true. Good luck to everyone as they continue their journey. Future RNBSN 2017
  2. How is everyone doing or adjusting to their programs. I started on the 2nd and I can admit the course load is no joke. But I'm definitely up for the challenge because this is what I really want. Good Luck to everyone and I hope we all can keep our communications going when time permits
  3. I could definitely use a buddy/friend to keep in contact. I start my first semester of an accelerated bsn program next week
  4. Thank you everyone for all the helpful and encouraging words. Slacking off is definitely not an option and I plan on giving it my all. I have 5 days left before I start and I'm seeing this is the start of a new journey towards my continuing goals.
  5. I came home from work tonight and I am full of fear. I start school next week and I am all nerves. I know this is what I want and I can't see myself doing anything else, I just have become completely nervous and afraid and for a minute I even second guessed my decision to start this program. Can't really discuss this with my best friend because she failed out of her LPN program and I don't want to come off as insensitive. I have to shake this feeling. I will shake this feeling. Sorry just needed to vent.
  6. I definitely understand. Will just learn to balance it all out
  7. Oh OK and yes I have no choice. I have kids at home and an out of pocket cost. Are you going to work?
  8. Well that's good. I thought it would be at least probably going everyday. Do you start your clinical the 2nd eight weeks?
  9. I register Monday morning at 9. So do u go to class everyday?

  13. In the first session I take transitions to nursing, anatomy and physiology and college algebra.
  14. Is this loan still offered? I will not be able to receive any financial aid until at least 1yr into the program. Any insight will be greatly appreciated
  15. It's ok but I'm scheduled for the 9 am orientation as well. Did you get your classes that you will register for during the program? If so what are your first set of classes?
