Congrats on starting! Im thinking about seeing an advisor at chamberlain. how many semesters is the BSN program?
It depends if you have taken some pre-reqs. If no pre-reqs the whole program is 3 years, however I just rcvd my AA from FSCJ and my credits transferred so its like 1 1/2 for me. Hope this helps you and good luck to you!!!
Is that with summers off or not? im 3 classes from my AA and hopefully ill have it with in the next 2 semesters
its not like JU or UNF no summers off
If this is too personal u dont have to answer it, but about how much will your education cost u since u already have ur AA degree. Im just trying to get an idea about how much ill need

Hey smsoule! Thanks for starting this thread! ThaI too will be starting in Oct. Like you, I SHOULD also be able to finish up in about a 1.5yr. I'm hoping to find a night job so that I can work and go to school at the same time. It will be difficult, but with the economy I have to work. I dont have any children and Im not married so it shouldnt be as hard for me compared to those that also have children to care for. I completed all the pre-req's for SRCC/FSCJ with the exception of Micro and chem, so I will be starting with that class first semester :uhoh21: Im anxious to start and get busy with the hands on clinical portions. If you dont mind me asking, did you have to get private loans, and if so what lender did you use. Im in the process of looking for additional funding now.
K-Nurse-one-day... the tuition is about 8K per semester. 3 years is 9 semesters. Hope this helps.
If u have ur AA degree about how many semesters do u think it would take?
k nurse-one-day,
It really depends on how many classes they decide to transfer over. My suggestion to you is to save all of your current syllabi from classes that you think they should accept after looking at thier course curriculum grid. It was a pain trying to get course syllabi for classes that I had taken over 10 years ago. After they did all of my transfered in credits I need 78 to complete the BSN program. I should be able to finish in about 5 semesters which is about a year and a half. Also, if and when you go in to see an advisor take unofficial transcripts in so that they can do a course evalutation (takes about 2-3 days) to see what will transfer in. Good luck!
Shay,
We have CCN 100 together on Monday mornings. Is it just me or does it appear that we get a lot of uneccessary "Busy" work for this one unit class? I didnt realize that sharing our personality results was going to be the public speaking assignment. Hopefully this 8 week period will go rather quickly. See you in class!
