Chamberlain Houston Starting January 2015

Published

Hey! I start this January. I wanted to start a topic for all of us to communicate through! I'm really excited and nervous at the same time. I figured we could provide eachother with helpful information that would be easily accessible for all of us!

I have a question that I can't seem to find the answer to and was wondering if one of you that have gotten acceptance into the program may be able to answer.

I know they take a cumulative GPA of all the schools you received credit from. But my question is will they only take a cumulative GPA of the courses that Chamberlain was able to accept?

Hi I asked this very question to my advisor back in July. I was advised it was based on all of the transcripts. Then get a fresh GPA when you start at the school.

Hope this helps

Thank you.

That is crazy because I know they won't accept most of my classes.

A couple of mine didn't transfer either. The issue with mine is I went to a university that worked with quarter credit hours. So my chemistry did not convert to enough semester credit hours, so I am re-taking that (chemistry NOT my favorite subject) lucky for me the instructor seems to explain in in ways that I can relate too. One of my health classes did not transfer either but, I'm actually enjoying the class it is like a refresher for somethings and completely new in others.
