I am starting MSN-FNP on Monday! Any tips or advise? It has been 15 years since I've been a student and I'm new to on-line education!

I am enrolled in the July session at CCN but i have extended my session start date to september, 2014. Current students in the class, how is the class going, too much readings? homeworks? discussion board?. PLease give us insight on what to expect and to be prepared.
I am halfway thru the Foundations class. I like it so far. The worst part was at the very beginning you have to become familiar with the e-learning platform. I have never taken an online class so this was hard for me. Not a lot of assigned reading, a couple journals articles a week and an approx 1-2 page lesson. You have to post to the discussion board at least twice a week and we have had two very easy assignments and one 2-3 page paper due so far. Brush up on your APA!
Thank you so much for the infor. really helps. keep me updated and i sure will do the same. thanks

I had to postpone my acceptance to a September start after finding out that I am expecting a tiny human in July. Good luck to everyone! Hope to "see" some of you in class!

Hey, I start in May and just wondering how the classes are going so far.
Hey
I just finished Nr 500 n it was pretty good. Two Discussion posts a week n u have to respond to your classmates on different days. One big paper n one PowerPoint presentation. Not so bad for a first class
Good luck
