Chamberlain FNP Program
Brush up on APA! Other than that the first couple classes are a lot of review from undergrad.

Chamberlain FNP Program
I am only on my second class but so far I would say it is all in what you want to get out of it. If you just want to do the bare minimum, you could probably get by on 6-10 hours. Some of the assignments will add another few hours to that for the week. I find that it is more like 20 hours per week for me, I am still learning APA and struggle with searching for articles to support my statements in the DT's. That is just my experience...so far!

Chamberlain FNP Program
Bit of a rough start....the online thing was totally new to me! My frustrations were mostly centered around not being familiar with the technology. What did you think?

Are you doing all your clinicals with one preceptor?

Chamberlain FNP MSN program Jan 2014 Start
I am halfway thru the Foundations class. I like it so far. The worst part was at the very beginning you have to become familiar with the e-learning platform. I have never taken an online class so this was hard for me. Not a lot of assigned reading, a couple journals articles a week and an approx 1-2 page lesson. You have to post to the discussion board at least twice a week and we have had two very easy assignments and one 2-3 page paper due so far. Brush up on your APA!

I am starting MSN-FNP on Monday! Any tips or advise? It has been 15 years since I've been a student and I'm new to on-line education!

Chamberlain FNP Program
Hi! I am starting the MSN FNP Program thru Chamberlain on March 3rd. I am a little scared of enrolling in an online program. I would love to hear from others in the program. How are your classes going? Any advise, tips or hints for a new student?
