Chamberlain Sac Fall 2017

Nursing Students Chamberlain College

Published

Hello everyone,

I have applied to Chamberlain in Sacramento for this fall. I am currently waiting to find out if I get into the program, has anyone else applied or got in for fall of 2017? I am so excited to start the nursing program and to finally become a nurse! (:

I got an 83 the first time and a 87 the second time around. But they told me that they don't go off of our Hesi scores completely because they also have a "Chamberlain score" and that one is a little higher if you did good in Math and the English portions

Ok that makes sense. I knew they scored differently but didnt know how. Is your new advisor a lady from texas? We have been playing phone tag. I dont even know what i scored on the second attempt. Good luck!!! :)

Thank you !!

I wrote my score down as I was going through the sections and then I looked at my final grade. If I didn't do that I wouldn't know my score either. My new advisor didn't tell me anything. She called me on the 15th which was supposed to be the date I heard back if I got in or not but she just told me that she would check in with me later. I don't know where she is from but she didn't give me many answers like my previous advisor did.

Specializes in BSN, RN.

Hi everyone,

I am currently in the program, this is my second semester. Yes the cap is at 30. If you have a GPA of less than 2.75 chances are you're not gonna get in unless your batch of applicants have the same GPAs because they will only get the top 30 of the 300+applicants. They don't have a waitlist but they do have people who will be on dock, meaning if somebody chickens out then you get a spot. I think they keep 3-5 in the dock. If nobody cancels then you start the next season. I had a 3.75 GPA and hesi of 93% but my cohort's GPAs were at 4.0 - 3.75, so I am in the low end of it, I was on dock so started the semester after.

Hello,

Thank you for the insight, I really appreciate it! Goodluck with the rest of the program at Chamberlain (:

hey everyone! hope you're all having a great summer. I just wanted to check in if there are any updates.

Hello, so excited to say that I will be starting the BSN program for Fall of 2017, but in Phoenix, Arizona. Anyone else?

hey there, do you have an idea of the overall tuition?

In Phoniex, it will be about the same price it is in Sacramento. Since I will have classes transferring over, it will be about 50K for me, for the entire program.

I'm in the final steps with my councelor for Phoenix as well. Good Luck !!

You too! Let me know if you do get in, it would be great to know someone! (:

Hello! I recently got accepted for Chamberlain in Atlanta! Make sure they have everything they need from you to review your application! They were missing items from me I didn't know they needed and never contacted me to tell me. I had to call them to ask if I was missing anything. They never told me but even if you have taken college courses, unless you have a degree you have to submit your high school transcript with your college transcript. I would check in with them just to be sure they have everything they need from you. Goodluck!

Great job being accepted. I am also a student at Chamberlain Sacramento. Can follow my Ingstagram @ccnstuden2019 where I share my progress and insight to students
