Nursing Students Chamberlain College

Published

Hello everyone!I am new to this site : ). I got accepted into Chamberlain about a month ago for tr Oct.29th start date.. Which I'm super excited about!! I was just wondering if anyone knows how the schedule for the nursing classes work? Is it an all day think like 9-4 like I've heard or is it shorter? Reason I ask is because I have a 2 year old and with classes approaching soon I want to make sure everything is taken care of when it comes to child care and pick up times. Also, anyone else starting in October as well? I've read a lot of good things about Chamberlain. I can't wait to start!

Mommiof3 congrats!!!!

I got my acceptance call today!!! I'm so happy and excited???January 2014!!! Hooray?

I'm trying to get in for the summer registration. Was the HESI test easy and how is your classes going so far. Congrats also.

When is your graduation date I started in January as well.

Hi Mickey44

Have you started Chamberlain yet?? How has it been so far?? They are way more expensive than BCC or MDC I just want to hear from actual students it's worth the $$$$. Hope all is well in your studies!

Hello there, I know its been a while since you posted this. I was wondering if you are still attending Chamberlain, if not how was the program? is it really worth the money. I am thinking about applying to the school and I would love to hear about your experiences, any information would help. thanks

Classes are going really well. A lot of work and a great learning experience. : )

I'm still attending and the program is worth every dollar! !

The program is more expensive than community college. Graduating with a bachelor's degree is worth it, in my opinion. I transferred in a lot of credits to offset the length of my program.

All the best : )

I studied for the Hesi exam, so I was prepared, I guess that reduced anxiety about it being difficult. Classes are going really well. Thanks!

Hi, i currently finished my LPN at medvance and I'm look to continue my education. i heard nothing but good review about Chamberlain, but i was wonder if anybody knows what the class schedule is like? and how long is each class? are classes everyday? thank you guys in advance.

The class schedule is a bit insane. Ontop of class (some of which you can do online) you do a 9a-5pm lab on campus or a 12 hour clinical shift in a hospital or clinic.. or sometimes both. It's a lot.

Does anyone know what the cost of the BSN program is when all prerequisites are taken from a previous college?

Also, does anyone have a general idea of what their loan payments come out to be when done with the program and working?

I've taken most of the prerequisites and trying to get a ball park idea of the costs and also payment costs. Thanks!! :D
