I was accepted into Chamberlain College of Nursing for the spring semester. Just wanted to know if there are any other people starting in March. If you were a former student (Deaconess) feel free to share your experiences. I would really like info regarding clinicals. I am a local student in the St. Louis Area.
Thanks
I am at the end of my first semester of Chamberlain.......not easy, but my fundamentals teacher has been wonderful!! As for Maryville, it is definately a great school-have all my undergrad classes from there......but being a mom of three/wife, trying to work a little while going to school.......could not take the nursing schedule at Maryville. While Chamberlain is busy too, it is a little better since I can choose when I do a lot of my studying and tests! Good luck.....it is expensive, but so far has been a great experience!
I graduated from the online program 12/06....ceremony was 4/07. This program has been worth every penny it cost me. The only thing I know about the pass rate was that all but one 1 passed the program and NCLEX that term. I will be glad to talk with anyone about the program :)
I would love to know more about the online program. I am in Michigan and wonder if it would be hard for me to secure a clinical location. Do you have any advice? Also I would love to know what some of the pros/cons of doing online are at this school. :)

Hello Mema1, I have some questions about this school/program. I hope you can help. First did you do your program at the Jacksonville campus and how was it. Secondly, since I have all my pre-reqs in which all were accepted, how long does it take for me to finish the program and is there a summer semester? Does Chamberlain have a good reputation because I have heard few good stories about devry and tons of not so good stories and I know they are part of devry? Lastly, I know they are accredited and once you pass the Nclex, you licensed to practice, do employers look at the school you graduate from or your license is all that matter? Thanks in advance, and depending on your answers I just might have more questions.:)
If I can help in any way, please e=mail at [email protected] . In the subject line put Chamberlain so I will respond immediately. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
