Hello everyone,
I have a huge question and really need some input from those who were accepted into the BSN program recently.
I took the HESI exam today and talked to my advisor afterwards finishing up the application process...now the waiting begins.
The admission committee meets Friday, but my advisor said that she can't get my documents ready in time for it so I'll have to be reviewed for the next sitting in two weeks. The downside of all this is I have a flight overseas (which was booked 5 months ago) for medical and family purposes that require me to be there for 2 months and won't be back till mid-August. Although if I get accepted I'll return to the states asap and want finish everything within a week, then go back and stay in Europe up until classes start. But I need a ETA. How long did paperwork; transcript evaluation; financial aid; class registration; background check; and fingerprinting take? Are these things achievable in a week or so? Or would I have to be here the whole summer to complete them?
From your experience how long did it take you to complete this process? I asked my advisor but her answer for anything involving dates and deadlines is "I don't have an exact date."
Help! Please!
Hey FutureRNN,
Yes, you're correct; To get into the school they calculate all a cumulative GPA from all of the schools you've recieved credit from.
As for the GPA of the accepted credits, that's different. Only the classes that transfer and you are credited for are calculated in to your Chamberlain GPA, and you will build on that.
Hope that answers your question! :)

I have a question that I can't seem to find the answer to and was wondering if one of you that have gotten acceptance into the program may be able to answer.
I know they take a cumulative GPA of all the schools you received credit from. But my question is will they only take a cumulative GPA of the courses that Chamberlain was able to accept?
