Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta, GA

Nursing Students Chamberlain College

Published

Has anyone attended or is currently attending Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta? If so, how is it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am currently attending a technical college and have done all of my pre requisites except for the sciences. My gpa is 3.40. I just found out about this school and I am very interested... thanks.

I'm confused. I'm trying to figure out the cost of this program and I can't get a straight answer. So If I'm entering my last two years of school, basically only doing the nursing portion, all of my prereqs are done; the cost will be 90,000?

ajohnson8282: Here is a link to the cost worksheet for Chamberlain College of Nursing. I hope it helps. Please call the school directly to get an estimate if you are still not clear about the cost. As a current student that is four months from graduation I will say that the program and its flexibility are worth every penny.

I have been researching information on chamberlain and I also went to the open house and fell in love. I notice that most of you say go ahead and finish your pre req courses first and then transfer in. I need advice I want to start chamberlain in the Fall I already have a previous BS degree and by the fall the only pre req I will have left to take is microbiology because I am taking a&p 2 this summer. Should I go ahead and apply to start chamberlain in the Fall and just take micro with chamberlain or take micro elsewhere in the fall and start chamberlain in the Spring? I just want to start already!!!

It will be good to get as many as prereq out of the way as possible; however, you only have that one class to take so it's not really a big deal. Therefore, if you want to go ahead and take micro with chamberlain I see no problem with it. Good Luck!

Has anyone attempted to take Micro with patho?

I'm taking the trifecta, so I have patho with fundamentals and health assessment. However, I did take micro at Chamberlain with Prof Siddiqi and she was amazing. Very knowledgable teacher, and I learned a lot!

Hello everyone! I'm thinking about applying at Chamberlain for the fall semester. However, I need some advice on a good study guide for the Hesi, I haven't been in school since 2006, with that being said I need to HELP!

Use the HESI review book evolve elsevier. This is the study guide for it. Im trying to get in for the fall too so i wish u well and i hope that we both get in :).

I purchased my book. Thanks for the info!

U are very welcome

How is the school overall? I'm looking into signing up for this school just want to know if it's a gooD pick

Hi Future Pedi_Nurs! It's a great school; however, it's very pricey. This is my second year and it is going great! Just be ready to study, read, read, and read again lol! I start clinical next month so I am excited about that!! What works best for is that I split up most of my nursing classes and did not go by the curriculum plan that they have set up. I just know what's best for me and that option is working extremely well for me. Good luck to you!
