Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta, GA

Has anyone attended or is currently attending Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta? If so, how is it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am currently attending a technical college and have done all of my pre requisites except for the sciences. My gpa is 3.40. I just found out about this school and I am very interested... thanks.

Actually I'm going to the August 27th orientation bc Thursdays are really busy at my job so I'll leave work early on that Tuesday instead of Thursday. I think I chose the 3pm one. If ur going Thursday, I'll be sure to let you know how it went :) I cant wait to get started lol

They have one on Tuesday? The paper he handed me was for Thursday. I am off on Tuesdays, and that would work much better for me. I will call to see if I can switch tmr.

Hi Dalencia! Congrats on your acceptance! How long did it take for them to contact you after you took your test? Do you mind sharing your score/GPA? I took my test on June 27 and I am so nervous because I'm waiting to hear if I have been accepted.

Thank you! I took the test on July 10th, so it only took a week. My adviser told me that the admissions committee met every Tuesday, and I would kno in a week or two. I don't kno if that goes for all the campuses or not though. I made a 95 and my GPA is 3.2. I called my adviser today and he told me I was accepted. Maybe you should call yours to get an update on everything since its been a few weeks.

Sharieka, has anyone contacted you yet on classes. I took my drug test/background check 2 weeks ago, and no one has yet to call me. I left a VM's and 2 emails with my advisor, and has not yet returned my call!!!! I know they are super busy, but they need to let the students already accecpted know what the heck is going on. I need to plan my work schedule, but I have yet to get anyone on the phone. It makes me wonder how its going to be once I get started and I need to speak with someone. Starting to get really aggravated!
