Hi, I do not see a topic for future applicants of the BSN Program at Chamberlain starting January 2023. Just wanted to know where everyone is at in the application process. For those not applying to the Sacramento location, any input/stats/conversation would still be helpful!
@Rose326 please can you share your quizlet with me as well? I take my HESI in 2wks and I am super nervous! When I do the practice test I am not scoring great at it. For Grand Canyon we need to complete: reading, math, grammar, A&P and Vocabulary. Please if you have resources for those sections can you share them with me. [email protected]
I truly appreciate your help.
Hello everyone, I took my HESI about a few weeks ago and am waiting to hear back to get an Admission Committee Review Date for Sept 2023. They told me I will get a date any day now. How long did it take for you guys to get a date? Just curious. Extremely nervous!
Stats:
I've taken 60 college units including Anatomy, Physiology, and am in the process of Micro. Have a 4.0 GPA, got a 92% on the HESI. I also put a lot into my personal statement. We will see if I get in!
@Isabella Macias I took my HESI the end of September, got an email saying I wasn't accepted for January cohort October 27th and got the call saying I was accepted for the May cohort November 19th. I never got the call for when my admissions review date was but I know that was supposed to happen so I knew a general time of when I would hear. My not sure of timeline but I feel like for a September start date, you probably wouldn't hear much for a couple months. I know how hard it is to wait! Your stats look super good though so I bet you'll have a good chance! Good luck!
@Isabella Macias that's awesome!! CONGRATS! Thats so awesome you didn't have to wait long also!

Hi,
I'm planning on applying to this campus but have to study for the HESI first. What resources do you recommend? I just took the TEAS a few weeks ago to apply to los rios programs.

Hey Alex,
I recommend NurseHUB for HESI material and also lots of practice questions. I have some flashcards if you want them, just shoot me over your email. If you go over these questions in my file, and memorize them, you should be good. This HESI is shorter and only has A&P, vocab, reading comprehension, and biology. My weakest link was BIO since I never took a BIOL 1 class. But since I took all the prereqs everything was easier. Are you applying for the September start date as well?

Well congrats on getting in, sounds like you were very prepared and you have great stats! I'm applying for January! I'm trying to finish a few more courses to transfer over. My email is [email protected]
Thanks again! ?
