Hello, I have taken my Hesi and passed. Now I am waiting to be accepted. Hopefully, it will be soon. I would like to meet others who are applying for Jan 2020 Atlanta Campus as well.

@NurseTia123 how was your first semester and what classes did you have to take?

So I am unsure if I am officially accepted because I am waiting for my advisor to call but I received a docusign for student code of conduct and I received a transcript evaluation with the credits I have and classes I need to graduate. Does this mean I am in??

Hi yes, we’ve had to move to the virtual learning environment but classes are going good.

@QueenSugarCNAyes. Congratulations. You would still need to pass background & drug screen before you get your official acceptance letter though.

I’m going to the Atlanta campus.

I am so excited! How are the online classes? I’ve heard they were tough.

When I got accepted that’s all the information they sent me . So I think you are in!

She finally called and told me I made it in. I won’t receive an official acceptance until I clear my background and drug screen.

@QueenSugarCNA did you have to to a webex to go over your transcript and they tell you more or less your schedule?

I’m supposed to do a Webex tomorrow and go over my class schedule, tuition cost, etc...I completed my core classes so I will only be paying around 40k for tuition.

So I’m thinking about delaying my start date to September instead of May. Has anyone done that before or known someone who has? If I do I’ll have to go before the admission committee again and there is no guarantee I can be readmitted for September. I don’t want to lose my seat but I wanted to give myself to better prepare.

How much the nursing classes are? If you take prerequisites classes at another college?
