Chamberlain Atlanta 2020

Hello, I have taken my Hesi and passed. Now I am waiting to be accepted. Hopefully, it will be soon. I would like to meet others who are applying for Jan 2020 Atlanta Campus as well.

Hello,

I actually was accepted a week after I took my hesi. So Hopefully you should hear something soon. Are you applying for the Atlanta campus?

Yes. Atlanta. Did your advisor call you to let you know you were accepted?

Yes and she sent an email.

How are classes going so far? I'm assuming everything has been moved to online. I am applying to start in May 2020 at the Atlanta campus.

Hi yes, we’ve had to move to the virtual learning environment but classes are going good.

I earned college credits 15+ years ago and as a result it is near impossible to bring my poor GPA up. It's hovering around 2.5. I have now taken all of the pre requisites for nursing school earning only As and Bs. Do you know of anyone who had a lower GPA than the required but did well in their most recent classes and were able to gain admission?

It is possible to get in with a 2.5 GPA. However, you will most likely have to redo those classes from 15 years ago. Especially the science ones. Sweet blessings to you, I'm sure you'll get in just fine.

The classes I took 15 years ago were all business courses. I earned all As and Bs in my science classes these last two years.

Oh, I’m sure you’ll be fine then.
