Assistant: " 1: a person who assists someone : helper also :" 

Equal: "1 : exactly the same in number, amount, degree, rank, or quality an equal share of equal importance."

It didn't feel good because I didn't want to be "that person" who exposed her. Sometimes it feels cliche' but in reality it's right vs wrong. We're in a profession where discrimination shouldn't be a factor. What if someone coded and had no IV access because she didn't want to touch them? It could have literally meant life or death or a lifetime of side effects of delayed treatment. I try not to find the worst in people but I can't sit back and watch the worst in them affect others either.
