HI!!! I'm Christine:cat: This is finals week for me!! yay!! I am attending Chaffey College and I just finished all the Prerequisites for the program!!! This is a little step towards whats to come, but I am so happy and proud of myself!!!! I started in spring 2014 at Long Beach City College, but have now moved back to the inland empire with my parents, so I transferred to Chaffey college. Its taken me a little longer then I would have liked because I was working full time in addition to ending a 9 year relationship because if I stayed I would not be able to accomplish my goals. I am taking spring 2017 off because I would like to refresh myself on my sciences. I took those in fall 2014/spring 2015 and also would like to study for the Teas, which I have not yet taken, my counselor advised me to wait until I got into the program and take it then because they will pay for it. I am very excited and hope to be starting in fall 2017!!!
Anyone attended this program or currently enrolled ? Anyone else starting Chaffey College ADN program soon spring 2017/ fall 2017?? lets be friends ??
I've heard lots of things about this program both excellent and also horrifying?? I'm not gonna worry about that too much the bad stuff sounds like they drill you and in my opinion a hard shove in the right direction never hurt anyone...... right?
I hope to find someone people who are in my shoes !!! It's so close yet to far!!! baby steps.......I'll get there !!!

Yes I took all of my prereqs and general ed at Chaffey. I'd be surprised if we haven't had a class or two together lol I just found a great study tool and thought I'd share
The TEAS Mastery: version 6 app has tons of practice questions and other helpful information that you can use when you're on the go and have a few minutes of free time. It's $25 for the premium version but I would say it's completely worth it. They have a free trial too.
Hey there! I'm an RCC student.. took 3 classes at Chaffey but did all my other classes at RCC. I just got the letter today! I am an alternate. I guess it's better than a rejection lol

Hello there are several schools sending out the letters don't worry I was an alternate for SWC and got in April 5th, our letters went out March 11th so less than a month later I got in. Also the turn in date was March 23rd for future RN students to accept and then literally after the deadline they went through the accepted and decline offers sent out new emails. I have much faith you will be accepted congrats and yes alternate is better than nothing its the same as when you first applied you still have a chance. Good luck hope this helped!

you will be fine, do you know your rank? Or how many they accept as a alternate? My school accepts 60 students and sends 20 alternates. I didn't know my rank because they wouldn't disclose it however, if you can ask some people on here what their points where that's how I knew I was close because my friend had two friends in with 74 and 76 points and I had 73 so it was a matter I waiting around.
