You know I don't really think they favor anyone. The only ones who get priority are veterans. I've taken all my classes there & I'm enrolled in some nursing courses & I'm still extremely nervous. I've known people who've taken everything there & with degrees from Chaffey who've had to wait until their second or third try to get in. I think it's all just a matter of luck. Hopefully we get lucky!
Hey guys so I have some information that my professor who teaches Pharmacology & 1st & 2nd semester in the nursing program told us. Rumor has it that unfortunately Chaffey has received the highest amount of applications ever this term... it was at around 200 on the 7th of this month & usually it's around 140 Also, they are going to choose applicants based on who has the most classes on the application completed. If you look online they updated the website & it says that should the amount of applications exceed the amount of space they have available it will be based on degree applicable units. Also, this is the first semester where they will be implementing a "new" selection process if you will. Usually it's the nursing staff who chooses "at random" but this semester they will assign each qualified applicant a number & applicants will be Truly be chosen randomly now. Ahhhh, Im So So nervous but I'm hopeful. Best of luck to everyone on here that's applying. I really hope we all get in.
Wow. There are lots of applicants apply for this term. I'm so nervous. I just conpleted the math401 which 1 unit class today at Chaffey. I already have prerequisites done except math401 just completed it. I turned in my application on the 2nd week of this month. 2 more weeks we will know the answer. Would you know are they chosen applicant by GPA or just people who completed the prerequisites the most?

Im Very nervous too.
Supposedly they don't look at Gpa just degree applicable units. BUT since it will be counselors who are assigning numbers now I wonder if they will look at Gpa or not. Honestly who knows. I'm just hoping for the best for us all who applied.

Hello everyone,
i am applying for Spring 2019. I decide to create a new board because I did not found one yet. I just want to know how the ADN program works and people who are applying. Just update and keep in touch information on the thread. Good luck everyone who is applied.
