I checked that too, I guess I will just wait till the 30th to see if they send rejection letter! Thanks for all the help! Congratulations again!

Hi,

I appiled with 47 points too and I got an 87 on my TEAS. I have not heard back and I am assuming I did not get in ?

OMG I thought this was the thread for valley (pregnancy brain) ??‍♀️. For chaffey, I did pass to phase 2 with 50 points. I heard back around 3:30 Friday.

heads up soon to be nursing students. Don't be bummed if you don't get into Chaffey. Go apply at Mt Sac or RCC. Or anywhere else. Chaffey nursing program was brutal and they live up to their reputation as being cut throat and eating their young. Only the BEST will make it through. I made it but out of our original 40 in 1st semester, 17 were held back to remediate or were kicked out! so just over half made it through on time or at all!! Take this as a warning and remember if you do get in...keep your head LOW....hide at clinical's from your instructor and trust no one!!

Can you elaborate more on why the 17 had to remediate or kick out? Also, what’s the reasoning for hiding from the instructor during clinicals?

I actually emailed them because I never received it and they said they didn’t know why it didn’t go out but I was passed on to phase 2 ?

WOW! CONGRATS!! It's such a crazy time right now it seems like everything is harder and I'm always unsure of what's going on. Did you do the TEAS already? I'm getting ready for that now. Yuck. I'm not looking forward to taking it in my house with my kids running around LOL

Thank you! I’m in the same boat! Have 4 kids running around while trying to study! It’s tough!!

I emailed and an automatic reply came in.

One part said " All applicants will be notified by mail as to the status of your application: Applicants selected for phase 2 will be notified 15 days after close of the application period. Non-accepted applicants will be notified 4 weeks after close of the application period."

I took my TEAS already so I am not sure if I will get an email to do phase 2 or just get an acceptance/rejection letter to the program. I am kind of confused.

Did anyone apply to any other programs? Any positive reviews of Chaffey?

I would ask them if you should submit your official TEAS Scores since you didn't receive an email to be on the safe side.
