Chaffey College ADN Fall 2019

Hello everyone, I know it's still early, but I just want to know who will be applying to Chaffey College in Fall 2019 ? Lets get to know each other. Good luck to everyone!

It's my understanding that the "External/Chaffey Transcript Evaluation" is mandatory. All of my classes were at Chaffey as well. As stated above, it's how they confirm your eligibility to the program. It's also listed as a step in the instructions to the application.

Ahhh! Okay is any counselor able to do that or is only the nursing counselor able to? When I called a a week ago They said the nursing counselor is on vacation and isn’t available until the 26th ?

That I don't know. I was given the request form last Fall from a counselor and they told me to turn it back in once the Fall semester was over and grades were submitted. So I turned it in around the first week of January in person to the counseling desk. They date/time stamped it and gave me a copy. And then about a week later they emailed me the actual evaluation stating that I was ready to apply.

I applied march 11th and haven't received a confirmation letter, anyone else hasn't received one? or has?

I checked my chaffey and personal email and have nothing. What email did you get the confirmation from?

I too was panicking because I did not receive a confirmation e-mail. I applied on the 7th. I called Monday (3/25) I asked if they received my application because I have not received an e-mail, they checked and said they did and I would be receiving an e-mail shortly. I received the e-mail within seconds. I would call just in case and confirmed. Health Science (909) 652-6671.

Is it true that they only accept 30 students? I’m hearing different numbers. At the workshop they said 60 but my friend said the counselor said 30

To my knowledge, due to the amount of students our clinical locations accept is that’s it’s always been Just 40 students. The amount that they accept though all depends on the number of veterans and repeats. So for example I just started in January and we have 5 veterans and 7 repeats in our cohort so there was technically only 28 spots left for those of us who weren’t veterans or repeats. Other semesters there can be almost all 40 spots open. It really just depends.
