Chabot Fall 2021

Hey guys, I didn't see a forum for this upcoming fall yet so I wanted to make one. I also had some questions and hopefully we can help each other out especially since times right now are tough.

Hello my name is Sergio, Im applying for 2021 fall too!

 

I was looking at Merrit and CCSF but I really want Chabot. The only thing holding me back is a psychology class. I took a different psych than the one they have on their pre-requisites. Hopefully I can get that substituted

I'm also applying for Merrit as well. Do you know how they calculate our points? Theres no rubric to how they choose students. Oh darn, hopefully they take your psychology class! Best of luck.

I believe Merritt is a lottery system, not based on merit like Chabot's (no pun intended)

What have you heard about Chabot's  nursing program in terms of the teachers and curriculum itself?

 

I am also looking into CCSF but not my first choice because I don't want to pay the toll for the next 2 years.

I haven't heard much about their teachers or curriculum, all I know is that their NCLEX pass rate is really good. I do also have a friend that really recommends Chabot. I've also seen a lot of people choose Chabot over Meritt in terms of teachers and the way they teach. 

Paying toll for the next 2 years does not seem ideal at all haha.

I'm so glad someone finally created this forum!

With the deadline coming so soon, has anyone turned in their application yet? I still have yet to do so but that's because I waited last minute to take my TEAS. ? If anyone is willing to do so, can you guys share what your stats/total points are? Thanks in advance and good luck to us all!!

Hello! I'm applying to Chabot with 74 points. Hopefully I have a chance with those stats.

I'm not applying because the psychology I took at a different college does not count towards this program. Best of luck to both of you though!

I'm on to CCSF or Merritt
